Plane Crash - Saint Mary's Wilderness

At 4:02PM Wintergreen Fire and Wintergreen Rescue were dispatched for an "Aircraft down, believed to be carrying 4 passengers", the exact location was unknown, however it was suspected to be near Wintergreen along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our Crew from Engine 61 and Medic 177 initiated a search which was ultimately unsuccessful. The aircraft was eventually located in the Saint Mary’s Wilderness area just South and West of Wintergreen.
