Structure Fire in Afton, VA

February 9, 2016 - At 2101 hours, Wintergreen Fire and Rockfish Fire & Rescue were dispatched for a chimney fire. The first unit arrived to find light smoke showing from the eves of the single family dwelling. Units made an offensive attack, encountering fire on 1st floor and attic, with a quick knock down of the fire. No injuries reported.
