New EMS Vehicle

September 16th, 2016 - Wintergreen Fire & Rescue would like to welcome our latest addition to our fleet of vehicles. Response 173 was placed in service this week and has a compliment of ALS equipment to help support EMS in the Wintergreen Community and surrounding areas of Nelson and Augusta Counties.

This 4x4 2016 Chevy Tahoe was purchased by both Wintergreen Rescue Squad and Wintergreen Fire Department as this vehicle will be a shared resource and housed at Wintergreen Station 1. We have also paid particular attention to improving command capabilities with this vehicle by adding a radio, command board, and green LED lighting at the rear of the vehicle. This unit will prove to be a valuable addition to our fleet.
